When i use SSH2 i cannot download anything because of "permission denied" (but i can connect and list dirs). Having searched and searched I had to settle with gFTP and FileZilla. So i guess i have to use SSH2 (ssl) or FTPS (tls) option in gftp. The FTP clients currently available on Linux just dont compare to some of the Windows clients.
